As our Associate PACS Administrator, you will serve as a vital member of our imaging informatics team, ensuring the reliable display, retention, and interpretation of critical medical imaging exams. You will be responsible for providing essential system administration for our PACS environment, acting as a key support resource for clinical staff while maintaining the integrity and availability of diagnostic imaging data across the organization.

Every day you will perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting for our medical imaging applications, ensuring that our systems operate within defined technical standards. Your daily workflow involves resolving moderately complex technical issues, managing system variables, and providing hands-on support to ensure that radiologists and imaging technicians have seamless access to the tools needed for timely patient diagnostics. To be successful in this role, you will possess a solid foundation in PACS administration and a strong technical aptitude for supporting medical imaging platforms and environments. You are a detail-oriented problem solver who excels at following established procedures, managing small-scale projects, and delivering consistent technical support to maintain the high-performance standards of our radiology information systems.

Required

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Medical Imaging, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or Clinical Imaging Technology.
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical or clinical role, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in healthcare settings.
    Technical Proficiency: A strong understanding of medical imaging systems, networking principles, and Windows operating systems.
