What are Outbound Customer Service Representatives?

Outbound Customer Service Representatives are professionals who contact customers or potential clients on behalf of a company, typically by phone, to provide information, conduct surveys, promote products or services, or follow up on previous interactions. Unlike inbound representatives, who handle incoming queries, outbound reps initiate contact to achieve specific business goals such as sales, customer feedback, or appointment scheduling. They play a key role in customer outreach and relationship-building, often working from call centers or remotely.
