Operations Center - Lubbock, TX

Level Entry Position Type Full Time

First United Bank is accepting applications for a Full Time Customer Service Representative in our Operations Center.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for supporting all products and services in our retail and commercial lines of business via inbound and outbound customer service calls concerning bank operations, regulations, transaction processing, and other inquiries as required by business objectives.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Identifying customer needs and suggesting appropriate resolutions, products and services
  • Utilizing technology to support and troubleshoot online services, gathering information, and tracking customer interactions
  • Complete wire transfers
  • Issue EMV Chip Debit Cards
  • Perform debit card maintenance
  • Generate routine department reports
  • Minor bookkeeping duties
  • Participates in job specific training, various bank training programs, and complies with BSA, AML and all bank policies and procedures as required

Minimum Qualifications: We are seeking individuals who will provide professional, reliable, and prompt service to our customers. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Consistent customer care experience, preferably in financial services
  • Candidate must have a High School diploma or GED
  • Excellent written / verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft programs
  • Ability to meet training standards is also required
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and/or extended hours as business requires
