Medical Call Center Agent

This role entails managing high-volume communications by answering inbound calls from approximately 40-50 physicians daily while meeting a minimum performance goal of 64 calls per day. Responsibilities include monitoring and responding to emails, accurately documenting and relaying messages to the appropriate team members for follow-up, and scheduling appointments. The role requires strong organizational, detail-oriented communication, and customer service skills to ensure timely support, efficient coordination, and effective resolution of physician inquiries.

This position is full time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm EST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

We offer 12 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted onsite.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides support to medical offices primarily by answering incoming calls.
  • Tasks will include scheduling appointments, sending messages to providers office, respond to patient inquiries, and processing communication within the electronic medical record system to appropriate resource.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years old OR older
  • 1+ years customer service experience
  • Experience with computers and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
  • Basic computer troubleshooting skills (clear cache, restart, connect to wifi)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Typing skills 35-40 words per minute
  • Must reside within 15 miles of Cuyahoga Falls, OH
  • Ability to work full time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm EST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime

Preferred qualifications:

  • 1+ years related medical office or medical assistant experience
  • 1+ years in heavy/high call volume phone setting in either call center and/or medical facility
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $16 - $29 hourly based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
