Job description

Responsibilities
The Operations Strategy Lead is responsible for driving scale, standardization, execution quality, and cost efficiency across TikTok's Content Operations function. This role involves leading the operating model, process excellence, capacity planning, and OKR governance that enables the platform to manage content growth priorities while maintaining accuracy, speed, and efficiency. This leader partners closely with Content Verticals, Regional Operations, PGC Product, Engineering, Data Science, and other XFN teams to ensure operations are data-driven, future-proofed, and continuously improving. Responsibilities: - Define and execute the long-term operational efficiency strategy for Content Operations globally - Design scalable operating models to support rapid growth in content volume, markets, and policy complexity - Balance quality, speed, cost, and risk in decision-making - Own end-to-end process design, optimization, and documentation across moderation, appeals, escalations, and special handling flows - Introduce Lean / Six Sigma / operational excellence methodologies to reduce waste, rework, and latency - Lead continuous improvement programs with measurable efficiency and quality gains - Own global capacity planning, forecasting, and workload modeling - Support budget and ROI processes - Lead coordination of the annual and quarterly OKR planning cycle and reporting - Define and own core operational efficiency KPIs (e.g., cost per decision, handle time, automation rate) - Build and lead a high-performing team of Operations Program Managers - Set a strong culture of ownership, accountability, and data-driven decision-making - Mentor future operations leaders

Minimum Qualifications: - 5+ years of strategic and analytical experience at leading technology companies, consulting firms, or investment firms - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Fast learner; highly self-driven with a curious and structured approach to thinking - Adaptable and comfortable operating in fast-changing environments with a roll-up-the-sleeves attitude - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions; highly responsible, independent, and resilient Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with user-generated content and social media platforms

[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $180310 - $364800 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
