What does an operations analyst do?

An operations analyst is often a step above an entry-level position in the operations department. As an analyst, your tasks include performing research and analyzing the workflows and operations of other departments. Additionally, you may be responsible for training entry-level operations assistants, coordinators, or new analysts. Qualifications for this position include a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, finance, or logistics, and some prior experience working in an operations department. You should have strong problem-solving and analytical skills and be able to work with little to no direct supervision.
