Job description

Job Summary
The Operations Associate with The Restaurant Store is responsible for assisting the Overnight Operations Manager with all aspects of daily material handling in a retail branch location. The Operations Associate will achieve a variety of operational goals through effective receiving, stocking, and presentation strategies that align with the goals of our sales, merchandising, order fulfillment, and inventory teams.

Responsibilities
  • Execute efficient receiving and put-away of incoming stock using pallet jacks, carts and/or powered equipment
  • Ensure a high level of organization and neatness while completing daily restocking tasks
  • Communicate effectively with the Overnight Operations Manager to sufficiently stock products in correct merchandising locations within the branch
  • Communicate effectively with the Overnight Operations Manager to address any operational issues
  • Rotate stock (FIFO) and pull damaged and expired products as needed
  • Perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goals
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness of the store
Physical Requirements
  • Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
  • Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
  • Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
Qualifications
Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management
Education
