Job description

Job Summary

The Overnight Operations Manager with The Restaurant Store is responsible for managing the physical merchandising of all items for a retail branch location. Under direction of the Branch Manager, the Overnight Operations Manager is responsible for accomplishing a variety of operational goals through effective time management strategies that align with the goals of our sales, order fulfillment, merchandising, and inventory teams.  

Responsibilities
  • Optimize sales based on effective product replenishment throughout the branch location 
  • Ensure a high level of organization and neatness while completing inventory replenishment tasks 
  • Maintain promotional displays throughout store that highlight promotional items in an effective manner 
  • Support order fulfillment methods of location by managing order pulling as needed throughout shift 
  • Communicate effectively with other department managers to ensure needs of customers are met in a timely and ongoing basis 
  • Communicate with Branch / Assistant Branch Manager to support the safety and maintenance of the building and equipment 
  • Manage employee relation issues as needed 
  • Support the development and training needs of the overnight team related to operational goals and position requirements 
  • Perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goals 
  • Manage building safety by holding keys to the building and using alarm codes as outlined in company policy 
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness of the store 
Physical Requirements
  • Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
  • Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
  • Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
Experience

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management with a specific focus on merchandising management 

Education

This role does not require a degree. We value relevant skills and experience and alignment with our core values above all else.

  • Proficiency with MS Office required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and experience with CRM systems and project management tools
