Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 

Location: Halton Hills, ON Canada

Morning Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Evening Shift: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Your Role:

Are you known for your leadership skills? Are you passionate about coordinating logistics activities? If so, we have an opportunity that would allow you to oversee transportation and customs processes, providing customer service for shipment, receipt and documentation of imported/exported products in accordance with federal and foreign regulations.   


WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?  

  • Providing direction to meet customer goals and expectations, ensuring productivity levels are reached in an effective and efficient manner and maintaining quality performance objectives
  • Providing supervision to hourly employees in a distribution center.
  • Overseeing the day to day operations of the warehouse
  • Managing administrative activities, development/monitoring of KPI's and implementing continuous improvement opportunities
  •  Following and enforcing company policies/procedures and Quality/safety/HR related policies and procedures.
  • Creating and implementing cost savings.
  •  Monitoring operational progress and customer/employee relations.
  • Overseeing staffing, training and discipline.
  • Overseeing safety and compliance issues, implementing and maintaining safety and compliance procedures.
  • Ensuring daily reporting of operational/quality requirements are completed.
  • Performing special projects as required by the General Manager.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?  

  • Must have 4+ years' supervisory experience in a an operations or distribution environment; experience with E-commerce and/or a distribution center will be a plus
  • A College Diploma is required, a background in logistics/supply chain will be a plus

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Fast paced distribution center environment
  • Conveyor machinery noise; material handling equipment traffic
  • Willing to work afternoon/night shift
  • Constant standing and walking through the shift
  • Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Some kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting
  • Some work on a computer on a desk
  • Ascending and descending stairs, ladders and ramps
