Operations Supervisor - Up to $115K

Join SAVARD Personnel Group - where your skills are valued!

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations across multiple locations supporting the construction industry. This role provides leadership to equipment operators, scale attendants, and yard/pit personnel while coordinating with sales, dispatch, and logistics teams. Based in Concord, approximately 90% of the role involves travel between sites.

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Yard/Pit Management
  • Oversee daily yard, pit, port, and dock operations.
  • Ensure efficient material flow, loading, unloading, weighing, dispatch, and shipment verification.
  • Monitor productivity, workflow, and operational performance.
  • Coordinate equipment availability, site readiness, staffing, and operating hours.
  • Travel between sites and provinces as required.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of operations, yard, pit, site, or logistics management experience.
  • Experience in construction, aggregates, materials supply, waste management, or a related industry.
  • Proven experience supervising front-line operational teams.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, yard/pit operations, logistics, and Ontario health and safety regulations.
  • Heavy equipment experience is an asset.
  • Strong leadership, communication, conflict-resolution, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with operational systems, reporting tools, and basic computer applications.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Physical & Working Conditions
  • Approximately 90% travel between sites.
  • Primarily outdoor work in yards, pits, transfer stations, ports, docks, and customer locations.
  • Exposure to heavy equipment, construction materials, dust, noise, mud, and varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb on and off equipment and lift up to 50 lbs as required.
  • PPE required at all times.
  • Occasional extended hours based on operational needs.

  • Monday to Friday
  • 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
  • Flexibility required based on operational needs.

Compensation
  • $95,000–$115,000 annually
