Since 1992, Badger has been innovating cutting-edge technology and providing services to a diverse customer base, including oil and gas, energy, industrial, construction, transportation and other markets, as well as numerous government agencies within Canada.ย 

The Operations Supervisor is an integral part of the operations team. They oversee many aspects of the day-to-day operations including but not limited to ensuring the operators follow proper safety protocol, onboarding and training new operators, and customer service to clients.

The compensation for this role will be commensurate based on education and/or experience.ย 

RESPONSIBILITIES

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assist with dispatching units and schedule projects on a daily basis
  • Communicate with clients, with a customer service focus on a daily basis
  • Assist with project related biddings and proposal
  • Support and improved business development on a daily basis
  • Reviewing operator's daily paperwork (Daily trip ticket, FLRA, DOT logs)

ย QUALIFICATIONS

What You'll Need For Success:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience required in one of the following industries: Vacuum / Pump Trucks, Commercial Underground Construction, Trucking/Fleet Management, Sewer / Water Line, Underground Utilities, Waste, Equipment Rentals. ย 
  • Valid CDL preferred. ย 
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Mechanical skills preferred.
  • Sales experience preferred.
  • Computer skills and strong organizational skills required, with a preference for Oracle or similar system.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to take on new challenges. ย 
  • Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds, standing/walking for extended periods, climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and working in various weather conditions.ย
