Business Operations Lead

Compensation: $100,000โ€“$220,000 base salary + competitive equity

Location: NYC preferred; open to U.S. / Canada / Mexico

Work Model: In-person strongly preferred; hybrid/remote considered

Overview

A fast-growing on-chain financial infrastructure company is seeking a Business Operations Lead to build and scale core operating systems across finance, go-to-market, and internal operations.

This role is designed for a hands-on operator who can execute at high velocity while also thinking strategically across product, finance, and market dynamics. You will operate as connective tissue across teams and partner closely with leadership in an early-stage, high-ownership environment.

The Role

This position is ideal for a BizOps athlete someone who thrives in ambiguity, builds systems from first principles, and consistently delivers high impact per hour.

You will own high-leverage initiatives across operations, finance, and go-to-market, while helping the company scale with rigor and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities Strategy & Execution
  • Lead high-priority, cross-functional initiatives including pricing strategy, GTM design, platform monetization, and marketing operations

  • Partner with leadership to prepare board materials, investor updates, and internal operating plans

  • Identify operational bottlenecks and design scalable, repeatable systems

Finance & Revenue Operations
  • Own financial operations: invoicing, vendor payments, expense tracking, and revenue reconciliation

  • Maintain the live operating model (cash flow, runway, headcount planning, revenue tracking)

  • Interface with external vendors, partners, and service providers

GTM & Internal Systems
  • Build dashboards, KPIs, and reporting infrastructure across product and growth

  • Create and maintain internal documentation including sales operations, playbooks, and process maps

  • Optimize customer onboarding workflows to accelerate adoption and revenue realization

What Were Looking For Experience
  • 2โ€“8 years of experience in Business Operations, startup operations, fintech operations, or consulting with handsโ€‘on execution responsibility

  • Mandatory experience operating inside a startup or high-growth venture environment

  • Not a purely advisory or academic profile

Skill Set
  • Strong systemsโ€‘builder mindset with an emphasis on automation and operational leverage

  • Ability to operate at speed while maintaining high standards for accuracy and output

  • Highly organized, resourceful, and impactโ€‘oriented

Compensation & Logistics
  • Base Salary: $100,000โ€“$220,000

  • Equity: Competitive equity package included

  • Location: NYC preferred (in-person strongly favoured); remote candidates must travel to NYC quarterly
