Job description

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead the operations of a new manufacturing facility in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. This is a rare opportunity to build and lead a facility from the ground up while helping establish production systems, workforce development programs, and operational standards.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing metal fabrication, welding, and manufacturing operations within a fast-paced industrial environment.
Responsibilities
  • Lead startup activities for a new manufacturing operation.
  • Build and develop production, maintenance, quality, and supervisory teams.
  • Establish production processes, workflow standards, and operational procedures.
  • Manage fabrication, welding, material handling, and finishing operations.
  • Drive safety, quality, productivity, and delivery performance.
  • Partner with Engineering and Corporate Leadership on equipment installation and commissioning.
  • Manage staffing plans, labor utilization, and production scheduling.
  • Develop and maintain plant budgets and operational forecasts.
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement efforts.
  • Ensure customer requirements and production deadlines are consistently achieved.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of plant leadership experience.
  • Strong experience in metal fabrication and welding operations.
  • Startup experience highly preferred.
  • Experience managing CNC equipment, fabrication machinery, and welding processes.
  • Ability to lead large hourly workforces.
  • Strong understanding of production scheduling, quality systems, and manufacturing KPIs.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
