Job description

The Operations Management Trainee program at Koenig Equipment is designed for emerging leaders in search of a career within the agricultural equipment industry. This program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in operations management while developing leadership skills and technical knowledge. Trainees will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and enhancing the Customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Support: Assist in managing daily operations, Parts, Service, PSSR, Aftermarket Support, including inventory management, and Customer support.
  • Safety Compliance: Promote a culture of safety by conducting job safety briefings and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor shop employees, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage with Customers to understand their needs, providing tailored solutions and support.
  • Project Management: Participate in various projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • Reporting: Provide periodic updates to management on operational performance and Customer feedback.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Agricultural Business Management, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • GPA: Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00.
  • Experience: Less than three years of professional work experience, excluding internships or part-time positions.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment.
Supplemental Qualifications:
  • Prior internship experience in operations, management, or a related field.
  • Leadership experience in campus, community, or extracurricular organizations.
