Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support customer-facing operations for a Contract position based in Charlottesville, Virginia. In this role, you will help drive a smooth onboarding experience by coordinating customer communications, tracking support activity, and organizing key implementation tasks. The ideal candidate brings strong administrative ability, confidence working directly with customers, and a proactive approach to managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to customer success team members, helping coordinate activities and maintain organized follow-through on account needs.
• Connect with customers by phone and email to encourage onboarding progress and ensure implementation milestones stay on track.
• Enter, submit, and follow up on technical support cases for customers, keeping records current and monitoring issue resolution.
• Gather and process system integration requests, track fulfillment status, and communicate updates to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Distribute onboarding surveys and help capture customer feedback to support a positive implementation experience.
• Generate and review product usage reports to help the team monitor engagement and identify areas that may need attention.
• Research instructional and product-related resources, then share relevant information to assist customers during implementation.
• Maintain working knowledge of company solutions and online content so accurate guidance can be provided to customers and internal teams.• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role such as customer success, account support, customer service, sales support, or learning support.
• Hands-on proficiency with Salesforce, Google Drive, Microsoft Office applications, and project management platforms.
• Strong analytical ability with experience reviewing data, identifying trends, and using findings to support decision-making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to coordinate next steps effectively across multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working independently in a virtual team environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and urgency.
• Experience in the EdTech industry is required; familiarity with K-12 education settings is preferred.
