OCM Consultant:
On behalf of our IT client, Procom is searching for an OCM Consultant for a contract role. This position is remote.
OCM Consultant - Job Description:
The OCM Consultant will support enterprise IT initiatives impacting a large end-user population of over 25,000 workforce members. This role involves planning and executing end-user communications, readiness, and enablement activities to ensure successful adoption of technology changes. The consultant will work closely with internal teams such as Marketing/Communications and SharePoint to drive these initiatives.
OCM Consultant - Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain OCM plans for enterprise IT change initiatives, including approach, timeline, deliverables, and adoption strategy.
• Conduct stakeholder and end-user impact assessments and translate findings into targeted change and communications activities.
• Create and execute communication plans across appropriate channels (newsletter stories, intranet/SharePoint, email, leadership messaging, etc.).
• Draft and package communications content and coordinate publication with internal Rush Marketing/Communications partners.
• Develop training, awareness, and enablement content for end users and help manage a project SharePoint site used to host and share materials.
• Produce clear, usable documentation such as end-user guides and product support guides.
• Create leadership-ready PowerPoint decks and talking points for "Awareness Roadshows" and broader change readiness efforts.
• Drive execution independently while aligning with internal stakeholders; proactively manage dependencies, approvals, and content reviews.
OCM Consultant - Mandatory Skills:
• Proven experience delivering OCM and communications for enterprise technology changes with significant end-user impact.
• Strong communications writing and content development skills (audience-specific messaging, clear user instructions, executive-level summaries).
• Demonstrated ability to build and execute practical OCM/communications plans end-to-end.
• Experience partnering with internal Marketing/Communications and intranet/SharePoint teams to publish content.
• Strong PowerPoint skills and experience creating leadership-facing materials.
• Organized, proactive project coordination skills with the ability to work independently and drive deliverables to completion.
OCM Consultant - Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Healthcare, hospital, or other large, regulated enterprise experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale IT rollouts (end-user tools, security changes, productivity platforms, clinical/non-clinical systems).
• Familiarity with change/adoption frameworks (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR) and applying them pragmatically.
