Description

Synch-Solutions is currently expanding its Organizational Change Management (OCM) practice and we're looking for experienced Organizational Change Management Consultants to join our team! As an OCM Consultant, you will be a strategic lead on large, complex, and critical engagements, developing change strategy and providing guidance and direction to other team members on execution. You will work with client change leaders, sponsors and senior. management to articulate and implement the change management strategy, work closely with functional areas to gather needs, develop and implement communication and training materials, deliver and track impacts, meet timelines, drive culture, assist the achievement of project goals and support business objectives. Remote with light travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead large change management programs of 3 - 10 team members on engagements. Manage engagement scope and client expectations. Plans and organizes the work of the team and determines, monitors, and reports on project status.
  • Meet with internal and external stakeholders to identify the people impact of process and technology changes
  • Develop and implement change management strategies, including assessments of client change readiness, stakeholder impact and potential change risk
  • Assess communication needs and develop communication strategies to address change
  • Develop communication deliverables
  • Assess training needs and build a training strategy to address the change;
  • Develop training curriculum, prepare and deliver training
  • Establish change metrics to assess change effectiveness
  • Develop and foster a collaborative working relationship with clients.
  • Work collaboratively with consultants, project managers, client corporate and Synch-Solutions staff to develop consulting and project methodology, techniques, tools, and solutions.
  • Provides guidance, assistance, and training opportunities to team members and customer staff; mentors and coaches support specialists and other consultants.
  • Participates in sales activities, client development, proposal development, and in closing sales.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experiencewith OCM methodologies that include the development stakeholder and change impact analyses, communication and training assessments and resistance management planning 
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask 
  • Excellent organizational skills 
  • Experience in Electric and Gas Utility Industry preferred 
  • Ability to coordinate and set priorities in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to relate to both technical and non-technical staff 
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently 
  • Ability to collaborate, share information and provide direct support 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the methodologies and principles of change management, including a thorough understanding of how people navigate change and are supported by the change management process 
  • Prosci certification a must
  • B.A. / B.S. in a technical field, or equivalent work experience; advanced degree in a related field preferred. 
  • Proven ability to exceed customer expectations and a strong customer focus 
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills 
  • Ability to coordinate and set priorities in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to relate to both technical and non-technical staff 
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently 
  • Ability to collaborate, share information and provide direct support 
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask 
  • Excellent organizational skills 
  • Experience in Electric and Gas Utility Industry preferred
