About the Job

We are a nationwide process service company and currently seeking to hire an Office Assistant to work in our fast-paced headquarters and with proper full training. We are a process service company for civil litigation law firms. We are looking for full-time.

Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate must be a fast learner, well-organized, multi-tasker professional who can assist to ensure that the work environment operates properly, effectively, and efficiently.

Duties:
  • Responsibilities will include a variety of tasks; Handling Legal Documents and Legal Document scanning, printing, data entry, typing affidavits, and answering multi-phone lines.
  • Attention to detail and multi-tasking oriented. 
  • Proficient in typing 40 words per minute minimum alongside Computer Skills. Knowledge of MS Word and Microsoft office. Capability to operate Industrial Printing machines such as scanning, printing, and postal machine usage.
  • Strong command of the company website.
  • Enter new local jobs with lawsuit notes effectively and efficiently to our website.
  • Enter attempts from local server jobs with notes to our website.
  • Update served and wrong addresses with notes to our website.
  • Capability to operate and answer multi-line phones professionally to give status to clients and take calls to schedule local jobs.
  • Type substitute service affidavits (106s) and affidavits of service.
  • Email signed affidavits to our clients.
  • Fill out CMRRR service returns for signatures.
  • E-file service returns.
  • Email returns of service and mail them out to out-of-area attorneys.
  • Notarize service returns and affidavits (if certified notary).
  • Ability to work well with others as a team.
  • Bi-lingual is a plus but not required.
