Job description

JOB SUMMARY:
Work with department Supervisors to write technical work instructions in simplistic language and process documentation according to ISO 9001/API standards. Assist in other administrative duties as necessary.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Performing research using multiple sources and generating reports and analyses based on data collected.
- Investigating processes for improvement or documented accuracy.
- Writing, typing, editing, proofreading, formatting, and printing work instructions and a wide variety of other documentation.
- Consulting with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to accurately record processes and job functions.
- Reviewing current documentation and recommending revisions in scope, format, content, etc.
- Ensuring documentation adheres to all regulations and guidelines as established by the national organizations (such as ISO, API, NB, etc.) required to maintain official certifications.
- Preparing and maintaining spreadsheets, forms, trackers, training records, and any other necessary documentation.
- Assisting department Supervisors in documenting corrective actions.
- Typing and sending emails according to a strict format.
- Updating spreadsheets and reports as needed.
- Working in warehouse conditions when gathering information.
- Observing and following all safety rules, attending safety trainings as necessary.
- Assisting in other administrative duties such as attendance tracking, meeting minutes, scanning, uniform counting/analysis, and any other functions assigned.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Professional writing skills including proper use of grammar, spelling, sentence structure, and paragraph organization.
- Ability to explain technical ideas in simple language using professional writing skills.
- Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality concerning company processes and employee information.
- Strong problem solving skills needed to obtain missing information or resolve conflicting information.
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat at an intermediate to advanced level.
- Ability to prioritize work under strict time constraints to efficiently complete tasks.
- Ability to read and follow strict instructions and structured formatting requirements for documentation.
- Willingness to work in manufacturing, office, or other environments as required.
- Ability to engage in scanning, record keeping, filing, and other administrative duties.
- Ability to safely operate a golf cart.
- Ability to travel between buildings in various weather conditions.
- Ability to answer phones and gather scheduling information.
- Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
- Ability to operate and maintain a company issued smart phone.
