HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST

Location: Orange County, CA
Pay: $23-26
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM 
Employment Type: Full-Time | Evaluation Hire

Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Human Resources Specialist for one of our valued Orange County clients.

If you're an experienced HR professional who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and supporting both employees and leadership, this could be a great next step. We're looking for someone who can confidently handle a variety of HR responsibilities while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Support day-to-day human resources operations and employee relations
• Coordinate workers' compensation claims, documentation, and return-to-work activities
• Assist with workplace incident investigations and appropriate follow-up
• Support managers and employees with performance, attendance, workplace conduct, and policy-related matters
• Assist with coaching, corrective action, performance improvement, and disciplinary processes
• Maintain confidential employee records and HR documentation
• Help ensure HR practices remain consistent with company policies and applicable employment requirements
• Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate employee-related information
• Assist with onboarding, orientation, offboarding, and other HR projects as needed

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Previous Human Resources experience, particularly within employee relations and workers' compensation
• Working knowledge of workers' compensation processes and documentation
• Bilingual English/Spanish required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
• Comfortable working with HR systems, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other business applications
• Ability to communicate professionally with employees and leadership at all levels
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, professionalism, and sound judgment
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities
