The Role
The Pilot Plant Lab Engineer supports process development and the production of low-volume products. Key responsibilities include performing SAP transactions, contributing to CIP projects, conducting Engineering Reviews, and managing equipment. Job Description
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Support CMP Pilot plant and LVM MFG batch process
  • Assure that all operations are conducted within site EH&S expectations, and consistent with Fujifilm core values. Provide immediate support for investigating any EH&S deviations, including near miss incidents and concerns raised by manufacturing personnel.
  • Monitor daily production operations, including reviews of operating data and data trends to validate lot builds and to identify any potential deviations from normal operations. Investigate product, process, and equipment deviations with the intent of identifying root causes and contributing factors. Develop and implement containment strategies so that product integrity and output can be maintained while corrective action plans are developed and implemented.
  • Support the scale-up process for pilot plant operations, evaluating feasibility and identifying potential risks. Develop and implement action plans to mitigate risks and ensure smooth transitions from laboratory to pilot-scale production
  • Manage raw material selection process, including inventory, reviewing raw material quality data and releasing raw materials in LIMS and SAP for use in specific customer/product combinations.
  • Develops and implements the strategies and processes necessary to consolidate all currently available electronic data onto a common platform so that it available for process validation and troubleshooting.

REQUIREMENTS
  • BS degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
  • 0-2 years manufacturing experience in related industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skill
  • Ability to interact productivity with all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated abilities to work independently and as a team
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Application
  • Experience with LIMS, SAP, JMP
  • Hands on experience with Lab tools
