Job description

The Network Relations Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Network Management team, serving as a key point of contact for carriers, employers, payers, and insurance partners. This role ensures timely tracking and resolution of complaints and inquiries, maintains accurate contact records and calendars, and supports the team's outreach and correspondence activities. The incumbent plays a critical role in keeping carrier-facing operations organized, responsive, and consistent with Boomerang Healthcare's policies and service standards.


*This is a remote role. You must live in the following states: CA, AZ, WA, or OR.


What you will do:

Complaint and Issue Tracking

  • Receive, log, and route inbound escalations and inquiries from payers to appropriate team members or departments and confirms resolution
  • Monitor open issues to ensure timely follow-up and resolution within established service level expectations
  • Maintain a complaint and issue tracking dashboard; identify recurring themes and escalate trends to leadership
  • Generate regular reports on complaint volumes, resolution times, and outstanding items


Contact and Relationship Data Management

  • Maintain and update the carrier, employer, and payer contact database, ensuring accuracy across systems (e.g., Monday, ZenDesk)
  • Serve as the team's point of contact for directory and contact record maintenance


Administrative Support

  • Schedule and coordinate internal and external meetings with carrier and payer representatives
  • Prepare agendas, take meeting notes, and track action items to completion
  • Maintain team calendars and ensure all recurring touchpoints and deadlines are properly scheduled
  • Keeps Carrier Growth Roadmap current
  • Draft, proofread, and distribute professional correspondence on behalf of the Carrier Relations team, including letters, emails, and follow-up communications directed to carriers, employers, and payers
  • Support preparation of presentations, reports, and outreach materials
  • Ensure all written communications align with BHC's tone, branding, and compliance standards
  • Other administrative duties as needed


Operational Support

  • Liaise with internal departments (Operations, Billing, Utilization Review) to gather information needed to respond to carrier inquiries
  • Assist in compiling data and supporting documentation for PPO contract negotiations and network participation initiatives
  • Support the team in coordinating outreach activities and relationship-building campaigns directed at carrier and payer partners
  • Maintain organized filing systems for carrier correspondence, agreements, and contact records
  • Assumes other responsibilities as appropriate to the position and organizational needs


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of administrative, coordinator, or client services experience; experience in workers' compensation, managed care, or a healthcare setting strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with the California workers' compensation system is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Monday and/or ZenDesk preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, service-oriented demeanor
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Experience preparing business correspondence, reports, and meeting materials



Compensation Range: 

$23.00 to $28.00 Hourly

All compensation ranges are posted based on internal equity, job requirements, experience, and geographical locations.
