Job description

Senior MEAN Stack Developer (Remote - Global)
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior MEAN Stack Developer to join our team. This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be able to align with our time zones and team collaboration needs.
Note: This is not a management role. We are looking for hands-on developers who deliver high-quality work and communicate effectively in proficient English with team members.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications.
  • Architect, build, and maintain robust REST APIs with JSON responses.
  • Create and optimize microservices with a focus on high availability and reliability.
  • Analyze large problems, break them into smaller components, and deliver effective solutions.
  • Perform code reviews, offering constructive feedback while adopting feedback from peers.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve the codebase, internal processes, and project outcomes.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and proactively contribute to projects beyond your core expertise.
Required Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years of recent hands-on experience with the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express, Angular, and Node.js).
  • Deep understanding of JavaScript Core, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Proven expertise with cloud technologies like AWS, GCP, Docker and K8S.
  • Strong knowledge of databases, cloud architecture, networking, and current security protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with Git and continuous integration systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile/XP methodologies.
  • Great communication skills in English, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach to learning new technologies and contributing across projects.
  • Known for taking ownership, solving complex problems, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience working with financial data or services.
  • Familiarity with Zapier integrations.
  • Experience using tools like Jira and TestRail.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices or workflows.
What We're Looking For
  • A team player who values collaboration, feedback, and continuous improvement.
  • Someone passionate about writing clean, maintainable code and staying ahead of tech trends.
  • A critical thinker who can analyze problems and turn them into actionable solutions.
Why Join Us?
  • Work in a fully remote environment with a talented and collaborative team.
  • Engage with meaningful projects that challenge your skills and promote professional growth.
  • Contribute to a company culture that values innovation, communication, and quality.
Application Note
We're looking for thoughtful, human-written applications. Please avoid copy-pasted or AI-generated responses and share your real experience as directly as possible.
