The Church House Network Director serves as the vision carrier and strategic leader of the Church House movement, responsible for building, growing, and stewarding the network to scale. This leader drives multiplication and long-term sustainability by developing leaders, strengthening systems, and ensuring alignment in theology, culture, and mission. Operating as both a shepherd and builder, they care deeply for people while architecting a movement marked by health, clarity, and lasting impact.


Personal Responsibilities

  • Be committed to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18; 1 Peter 2:2) by assembling for instruction in Godโ€™s Word and engaging in the personal study of Godโ€™s Word.
  • Responsibly use the resources at your disposal to foster the mission and vision of Abundant Life (1 Peter 5:1-4).
  • Participate in an Abundant Life group (Acts 2:41-42) as well as the discipleship ministry (Matthew 28:18-20).
  • Live in a way that glorifies God and aligns with the staff core values (1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9).
  • Be committed to giving to the needs of the saints (2 Corinthians 8:1-7 & 9:12).
  • Maintain membership and active involvement at Abundant Life.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Own the overall health, growth, and multiplication of the Church House movement
  • Recruit, develop, and care for leaders across the network
  • Champion and protect the theology, culture, and DNA of Church Houses as the movement scales
  • Build and refine scalable systems, structures, and workflows that support sustainable growth
  • Translate vision into clear strategies, rhythms, and execution across the network
  • Ensure alignment in theology, culture, and mission across all Church Houses
  • Establish and lead alignment rhythms that reinforce clarity, priorities, and direction
  • Identify and remove barriers that hinder momentum, effectiveness, or clarity
  • Provide coaching, oversight, and intervention in leadership, cultural, or operational challenges
  • Monitor and proactively care for leader health, addressing burnout and isolation early
  • Partner with leadership to shape strategy and plan for future multiplication
  • Track key indicators to assess health, alignment, and readiness for growth

  • Masterโ€™s degree preferred.
  • Five to seven years of experience leading leaders in a ministry, church planting, or organizational context.
  • Demonstrated experience navigating growth, complexity, and leadership development.

Specific Role Requirements

  • Travel to church house locations (both locally and nationally) two weekends per month or as-needed.
  • Hours/workday's will vary depending on travel and the needs of the role.
