Job Description

Network Automation Administration:

Administer the environment

o Issue case tickets to HP Support on behalf of CUSTOMER

o Investigate and deploy support provided fixes for new devices

Investigate, design, plan and implement security standard practices

Work open tickets/cases to completion

Correct application performance o Investigate database exclusive locks o Work with DBAs to correct issues o Work with Unix administration to correct issues

Administer Supplier's recommended practices for application, database, Linux as it pertains to Network Automation

Large log file implement log rotation (i.e. audit_log.txt)

Update and expand CUSTOMER troubleshooting guide

Upgrade and test all environments to 9.22.01

Disaster Recovery - planning for an active/active scenario

Projects: o support and integrate new systems, reports with HPNA o Investigate, design and deploy new device features within HPNA

Customer board (one (1) web page view of health of cores/database/satellites)

o Custom development may need a remote resource(s) other than the on-site Technology Consultant.

o The Supplier is expected to take requirements provided by CUSTOMER and add related requirements on behalf of CUSTOMER, that will be provided to the Customer board development person(s).

o The Supplier is to verify the test requirements are completely met and implement the new functionality to all environments.

o Any HPNA customizations performed will leverage documented APIs, and CUSTOMER will be advised on the pros and cons of the customizations before they are implemented.
