IP Network Engineer

Location โ€“ Redmond, WA (Day 1 Onsite)

12+ years of strong networking experience; superior knowledge and hands-on experience of IP design, infra, LAN (wired wireless), WAN, and firewall environments; understanding of all OSI layers from application to physical. (VPN (GRE, IPSec/SSL VPNs), Multicast (PIM-SM, MSDP, IGMP) At least 10 years experiences in design and deployment of data center networks. At least 3 years recent experience working on SDN/NFV technologies Plan design network connections and prepare test plans to do extensive testing of the network architecture Ideal if has knowledge on deployment, configuration and usage of AWS services Strong Linux and at least basic scripting knowledge IP design and fabric deployment implementation Overlay network experience - VXLAN, GRE, MPLS, SRv4, SRv6, EVPN, BGP Network troubleshooting Ideal if candidate has CCNP and knowledge on Nokia networks Expert level hands on experience with technologies like MPLS, L2, VPLS, EVPN and should have extensive configuration, design and operations/troubleshooting experience. Expert level of familiarity in implementing and troubleshooting dynamic routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, and MPLS, ISIS Expert level of familiarity with IPv4 and IPv6 and understanding of MPLS networks and Layer3 VPNs Strong network knowledge, troubleshooting and problem-solving capability. Must be ready to do hands-on (plug/connect) work in lab
