Job description

JOB SUMMARY:


  1. Provide technical expertise to resolve user problems both software and hardware related on a daily basis.
  2. Prepare and install equipment and software for end users as directed by management.
  3. Manage and document systems configurations.
  4. Interact and communicate with the user community.



OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:


  1. Install all new hardware, systems, and software for networks.
  2. Install, configure, maintain network services, equipment and devices.
  3. Supports administration of servers.
  4. Manages all system back-up and restore protocol.
  5. Plans and supports network and computing infrastructure.
  6. Perform troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstations and associated systems.
  7. Documents network problems and resolution for future reference.
  8. Monitors system performance and implements performance tuning.
  9. Manage user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, anti-spam.
  10. Requires a thorough knowledge of networking essentials.
  11. Strong analytical abilities and professional office experience needed.
  12. Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

High school education. College preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Three or more years experience maintaining Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server and Active Directory administration

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

CNA or MCSE preferred

A+ Certification
