Job Description

EPS Corporation is seeking a Computer Network Architects responsible for the design, development, implementation, and sustainment of secure computer and information networks supporting military C6ISR systems. This position performs network architecture design, network modeling and simulation, capacity planning, cybersecurity integration, and systems engineering activities across Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), intranets, and extranets. The selected candidate will apply advanced networking and engineering principles to support the development, integration, testing, deployment, and fielding of mission-critical communications and information systems.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures for military C6ISR environments.

  • Perform network modeling, analysis, optimization, and capacity planning.

  • Develop and integrate cybersecurity measures into network designs.

  • Analyze system requirements and recommend network solutions to support operational objectives.

  • Support network engineering efforts throughout system development, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment phases.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams.

  • Manage network modernization initiatives and ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements.

  • Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and engineering reports.

  • Coordinate with government stakeholders, program management, and technical teams to achieve mission objectives.

Minimum Education Requirements

Must meet the Cyber Security Workforce Framework (CSWF) Foundational Qualification requirements for the assigned DoD Cyber Workforce (DCWF) work role as defined in DoD 8140 guidance through one of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering from an ABET-accredited or NCAE/CAE-designated institution; OR

  • Completion of the applicable DoD/Military training pathway; OR

  • Possession of a qualifying certification listed below.

Experience may be substituted for foundational qualifications in accordance with Section 3 of the DoD 8140 Manual.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience performing network architecture, engineering, and analysis functions.

  • At least five (5) years of experience supporting military C6ISR network systems.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of management, supervisory, or technical leadership experience.

  • Demonstrated expertise in network design, integration, cybersecurity, and systems engineering principles.

Required Certifications

Candidates must possess at least one of the following certifications (higher-level certifications satisfy lower-level requirements):

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

  • Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP)

  • Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP)

  • GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA)

  • GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA)

  • GIAC Cloud Security Essentials (GCLD)

  • GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)

  • GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)

  • Certified Information Systems Security Officer (CISSO)

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.

  • Strong understanding of DoD networking, cybersecurity, and C6ISR architectures.

  • Experience with network security technologies, routing and switching, network monitoring, and systems integration.

  • Ability to work independently and lead multidisciplinary technical teams.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
