POSITION TITLE Adjunct Computer Science Instructor APPOINTMENT Appointed by the Chancellor of the College upon recommendation of the Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY Adjunct instructors may be assigned classes at any of the four River Parishes Community College campuses (Gonzales, Reserve, Plaquemine, and St. Charles), as determined by student need and institutional demand.

Teaching needs may include face-to-face/online and/or evening classes. Adjunct Faculty are responsible for timely and accurate submission of required documentation related to human resources and instruction. No Civil Service test score or assessment is required to be considered for this vacancy.

The pay for the position is contingent upon the hours and classes assigned. Adjunct instructors are currently paid at the rate of $800 per credit hour.
