Job description

A growing regional company is looking for a Director of Client Services to lead client relationships, account performance, onboarding, and long-term retention. This role is responsible for ensuring clients receive responsive communication, consistent service delivery, and a strong overall experience after the initial sale.

The right candidate will be a relationship-focused leader who can manage client-facing teams, work closely with operations, identify account growth opportunities, and ensure that client expectations are clearly understood and consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the client services function and ensure a high standard of account support
  • Manage and develop client service managers, account managers, or support team members
  • Serve as a senior point of contact for key client relationships and escalations
  • Oversee client onboarding, account transitions, renewals, and service reviews
  • Partner with operations to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts through additional services or improved solutions
  • Monitor client satisfaction, retention, issue resolution, and account performance
  • Establish processes for communication, reporting, follow-up, and client documentation
  • Support proposal renewals, pricing updates, and contract discussions as needed
  • Provide leadership with regular updates on client health, risks, and growth opportunities

Requirements

Essential

  • 7 or more years of experience in client services, account management, customer success, or operations support
  • 3 or more years of experience leading client-facing teams
  • Experience supporting B2B clients in a service-based environment
