Business Manager


We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Senior Business Manager to serve as a trusted business partner to a senior executive and the leadership team.


This highly visible role combines executive business management, strategic planning, operational leadership, project coordination, and executive support to help the organization operate with discipline, efficiency, and accountability.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator and relationship builder who thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. You will coordinate executive priorities, drive accountability across multiple initiatives, prepare executive-level communications, and ensure key business initiatives move forward on schedule.


This position offers significant exposure to senior leadership and provides an opportunity to influence business operations across a global organization.


Key Responsibilities

Executive & Leadership Support

  • Serve as the primary business partner to a senior executive, providing day-to-day operational, strategic, and administrative support.
  • Coordinate the leadership team's operating rhythm, including executive meetings, agendas, presentations, minutes, action items, and follow-up.
  • Ensure leadership meetings are well organized, outcome-focused, and supported with high-quality briefing materials.
  • Maintain action logs, decision trackers, and executive dashboards to monitor progress and accountability.
  • Coordinate executive calendars, travel arrangements, expense reporting, meeting logistics, and leadership events.
  • Prepare executive briefing materials, presentations, leadership reports, and client meeting packages.
  • Support confidential communications and executive correspondence.


Business Operations & Strategic Planning

  • Translate organizational priorities into actionable plans with defined owners, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities across multiple departments to ensure alignment and timely execution.
  • Track progress on strategic initiatives and proactively identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities.
  • Support governance activities for leadership meetings, business reviews, strategic planning sessions, and executive workshops.
  • Develop executive dashboards, status reports, KPI tracking, and performance updates for senior leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, reporting, documentation, and organizational effectiveness.


Project Management

  • Coordinate strategic initiatives requiring collaboration across multiple departments and global teams.
  • Support annual business planning, quarterly business reviews, and organizational performance reporting.
  • Prepare executive summaries, decision papers, presentations, and leadership communications.
  • Facilitate follow-up on key initiatives to ensure timely execution and accountability.
  • Provide project management support for cross-functional business initiatives.


Organizational Coordination

  • Partner with internal leadership teams to promote consistency in planning, reporting, governance, and operational best practices.
  • Coordinate organization-wide initiatives and facilitate communication across departments.
  • Ensure standardized processes, templates, and reporting tools are consistently utilized.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to improve collaboration and execution.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Communications, Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following:

  • Executive Administration
  • Experience supporting senior executives and leadership teams in a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of business operations, strategic planning, executive reporting, and organizational management.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience creating executive presentations, dashboards, reports, business cases, and leadership communications.
  • Experience working within a global or multinational organization is a plus.
