Assistant Business Manager
The Assistant Business Manager is responsible for assisting and overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations and business office functions of Intermediate Unit 1. This position works closely with the Business Manager and Assistant Executive Director for Finance and Operations to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with applicable regulations, and efficient operation of all business office systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Facilities Management, or related field is required.
  • 5 years of professional experience is required.
  • Experience as a School District Administrator or Auditor is preferred.
  • Pennsylvania Registered School Business Official (PRSBO) or PASBO School Business Specialist Certification is preferred.

Job Description: Assistant Business Manager
Act 93 Position (12-month position). The salary range for this position starts at $79,352 (minimum). The benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, short-term and long-term income protection insurance, and participant of the Pennsylvania School Employees Retirement System (PSERS). The benefits also include paid time off including sick days, personal days, vacation days.
