Do you have manufacturing experience and know how to drive a forklift? Ocean Spray is hiring Machine Operators for a Monday to Friday day shift at our Wisconsin Rapids Production Plant-this is more than just a job; it's a chance to build a real career. You'll start at $23.83/hour. This is a fulltime, yearround position. You'll work indoors in a fastpaced manufacturing environment making Sweetened Dried Cranberries (Craisins) with a team that values growth and stability.

What You'll Do

As a Machine Operator, your responsibilities will include:

Drum Filling & Packaging
  • Prepare drums and totes for filling (install liners, remove lids, etc.)
  • Operate filling equipment using touch screen controls
  • Fill drums with juice or concentrate accurately
  • Seal, label, and secure finished products
  • Move finished drums to storage using a forklift and high lift.
Production Support
  • Transfer juice and concentrate between tanks, drums, and tankers
  • Assist with blending and testing concentrate as needed
  • Load and unload tanker trucks
  • Monitor and record production data
Equipment & Process Operations
  • Set up and operate conveyor systems
  • Ensure filling equipment is properly connected and functioning
  • Enter data into systems and maintain accurate production records
Sanitation & Safety
  • Perform daily cleaning (CIP - Clean in Place) of equipment and work areas
  • Support plant-wide sanitation activities during downtime
  • Follow all safety procedures and food safety (GMP) standards
What We're Looking For
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
  • Comfortable working with equipment and technology (touch screens, data entry)
  • Strong attention to detail and safety
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime when needed
Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to obtain forklift and high-lift certifications (training provided)
  • Ability to follow safety programs and guidelines
Schedule
  • Typically Monday-Friday during standard operations
  • May require overtime or schedule adjustments to support production needs
