Job Responsibilities
  • Support the day-to-day operation of Tradeweb's model risk governance and model management framework.
  • Maintain model governance records, including model inventory information, risk classifications, review status, documentation, approvals, open issues and remediation actions.
  • Work with Development and Product teams to understand new or amended calculation engines, pricing logic, analytics, data inputs, assumptions, dependencies and customer-facing impacts.
  • Help ensure model and calculation engine changes follow established governance standards for documentation, review, testing, approval, implementation and ongoing monitoring.
  • Review validation and testing evidence at an appropriate level, including the reasonableness of test approach, coverage of key scenarios, evidence quality and traceability to the proposed change.
  • Challenge model owners, developers and product teams where documentation, testing or governance evidence is incomplete, unclear or inconsistent with required standards.
  • Perform high-level review of implementation logic, code or configuration summaries, data flows and controls to assess whether proposed changes are consistent with approved requirements.
  • Escalate material issues, control gaps or delays to the Head of Financial Risk and relevant governance forums.
  • Prepare concise reporting on model inventory status, review activity, open findings, remediation progress and emerging model governance themes.
  • Support governance review of AI, machine learning, generative AI or agentic workflow use cases where applicable, with focus on use case purpose, controls, oversight, documentation and monitoring.

Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or a related discipline.
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience in model governance, model validation, risk management, technology risk, product control, software delivery oversight, data analytics, financial technology or a related financial services role.
  • Quantitative aptitude with the ability to understand calculation logic, assumptions, inputs, outputs, limitations and testing results at a practical review level.
  • Technology fluency, including comfort discussing systems, data flows, development processes and code or configuration changes with technical teams.
  • Experience working with developers, product owners, technology teams or business stakeholders to support controlled change delivery.
  • Ability to review documentation and testing evidence, identify gaps, ask informed questions and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple reviews and summarize technical topics for risk management and business stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment and ability to challenge constructively while maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Financial services, fintech, trading, market data, risk management or regulated technology environment experience.

Desired Skills
  • Exposure to pricing, valuation, trading analytics, fixed income products, market data, electronic trading or customer-facing financial technology outputs.
  • Prior involvement with model inventories, governance committees, change management forums, release governance, audit remediation or internal control programs.
  • Experience with technology infrastructure, software development lifecycle controls, data lineage, production support or application control processes.
  • Exposure to AI, machine learning, large language models, generative AI or agentic workflows from a governance, controls, risk or technology perspective.
  • Ability to read code or query data at a basic to intermediate level; experience with tools such as Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Jira, Confluence or similar platforms is helpful but not required.
  • Experience preparing dashboards, metrics, management reporting, workflow documentation or process improvement materials.
