Senior Sap Developer

Overview

The ideal candidate must have SAP ABAP experience in SAP HANA implementations, upgrades, and conversions with strong expertise in OO-ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, Open SQL, OData, Enhancements (BAdIs/User Exits), and Adobe/SmartForms, along with proven integration skills (IDocs, RFCs, APIs, web services) also techno-functional knowledge of SAP FI, SD, and logistics processes is required.

Responsibilities
  • Design, document, and maintain high-quality SAP programs that follow best practices for reliability and scalability

  • Assess new development needs and system modifications, creating solutions aligned with evolving business goals

  • Analyze and respond to change requests, support Fit/Gap sessions, and guide teams with precise technical input

  • Implement SAP Clean Core principles by leveraging standard APIs, CDS Views, and extensibility frameworks.

  • Apply enhancement approaches such as In-App Extensibility (Key User tools, Custom Fields & Logic), Side-by-Side Extensibility (SAP BTP, CAP, APIs), and the Enhancement Framework (BADIs, User Exits, Implicit / Explicit Enhancements).

  • Maintain strong documentation and code quality, and ensure alignment with business stakeholders

Requirements
  • A Senior SAP Developer showcases deep technical expertise across SAP modules, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to turn complex requirements into reliable, standards-aligned solutions.

  • You communicate clearly, work effectively across global teams, and balance autonomy with a collaborative, service-oriented mindset.

  • 8+ years of ABAP development across key SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, QM, Solution Manager) in ECC and S/4 environments

  • Deep expertise in ABAP tools (Adobe Forms, Smartforms, SAPScripts, IDocs/ALE)

  • Experience with SAP HANA, CDS Views, and performance optimization.

  • Support SAP upgrades, migrations, and integration projects.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and translation of business needs into scalable SAP solutions

  • Should be open to work in (8 AM – 5 PM EST)
