Job description

Primary Responsibilities: Proactively source candidates using Internet resources, social media, employee referrals, headhunting techniques and other creative methods. Participate in the selection and contact with external agencies and staffing firms as needed. Responsible for interviewing, testing, and referring applicants for all positions throughout the company.

Considerable skill in interviewing techniques and a good knowledge of all specialized functions in the company as well as policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices. Work with hiring managers to determine specific needs of each position Ability to analyze the information provided on a prospective employee's resume, conduct a personal interview, and determine the suitability of the applicant for employment, which may include background reference checks, prior employment references, transcripts, etc. to gain adequate information on which to base a selection decision taking into consideration previous experience, education, etc.

In cases where an applicant is judged unqualified, tactfully turn the applicant away. Schedule all interviews Act as liaison with employment agencies Post jobs to all posting sites Maintain employee Referral record Complete weekly report on employment activity and maintain Employment Variance Report Track spending related to talent acquisition and make recommendations on how to best use resources Develop/Maintain relationships with professional organizations and other sources of applicant referral. Utilize Applicant Tracking System to efficiently process and track candidates Requirements: 2 to 4 years of professional level recruiting experience is required Technology industry recruiting is required (IT industry is preferred) Bachelor's Degree required The candidate must possess a strong understanding and appreciation of a diverse work environment and have demonstrated initiatives for recruiting for diversity.
