Job description

Location: Black Hawk, CO
Salary: $70K-$90K + 7.5% bonus target

The Executive Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef in leading all culinary operations across two casino properties in Black Hawk, bringing hands-on kitchen leadership and culinary expertise to a dynamic, high-volume gaming and dining environment. This role is responsible for maintaining exceptional food quality, consistency, and kitchen efficiency while supporting and developing talented culinary teams across multiple casino dining outlets.
 
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Executive Sous Chef or senior culinary leader within a high-volume casino, hotel, or multi-outlet hospitality environment
  • Strong knowledge of food production, menu execution, food safety standards, and kitchen organization with the ability to maintain consistency and quality across multiple casino properties and dining outlets
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and develop culinary teams while supporting the Executive Chef in driving operational excellence and financial performance across multiple venues
Responsibilities
  • Support the Executive Chef in overseeing all culinary operations across both casino properties, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, and execution that aligns with each casino's dining and brand standards
  • Assist with menu development, prep planning, inventory management, and cost control to maintain efficient and high-quality kitchen operations across all dining outlets at both casino locations
  • Lead, mentor, and develop kitchen staff across both properties while fostering a culture of culinary excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, high-volume casino environment
