Job description

Blackhawk Country Club will be the premier full-service club in the East Bay, where members gather as a community and create lifelong connections through exceptional experiences in an incomparably beautiful setting.

As a member of the Blackhawk Country Club team, you play an integral role in advancing our Club’s Vision and Strategic Plan. You will be expected to adhere to our "6B's," which outline the fundamental expectations we have of every employee. Additionally, we rely on you to embody our HAWKS CODE culture, bringing it to life through your language, attitude, and actions.

Position Summary

The Member Engagement Associate. This role assists with event photography and supports the planning and execution of various events and programs throughout the club.                                                                                                             

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Event Support and Photography:
    • Assist in photographing events, capturing memorable moments and ensuring high-quality images for club use.
    • Support the planning, organization, and execution of events and programs around the club.
    • Collaborate with the Member Engagement Director to develop engaging and innovative event ideas.
  • Social Media and Communications:
    • Support social media management by providing content and assisting with strategy implementation.
    • Ensure timely and effective communication of events, updates, and club news to members through various channels.

Junior Members' Rec Room:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Junior Members' Rec Room at Hawks Nest.
  • Run programs and activities for children aged 5-12.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the Rec Room.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about programs, schedules, and any other relevant information.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Experience:

  • Experience working with children and managing children's programs is required.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
