Job description

Job title: Medical Assistant

Job location: New York, NY 10017

Shift: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Pay: $20- $27/hr

Length: 3 months, Possible extension

Requirement:

High school diploma or GED (required).

BLS (required).

Successful completion of an approved Medical Assistant program (required).

Certification as a Medical Assistant (preferred).

Previous experience in a healthcare facility (preferred).

Computer literacy (required).

Experience of qualification:

  • 1+ years of Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy exp
  • Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and basic clinical procedures.
  • Prepare exam rooms, collect patient information, and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Support providers with patient care and administrative tasks;
  • EPIC experience and bilingual preferred.
