Job Description:

Responsible for packing / repacking meat products.

Measures, weighs, and counts products and material; assembles, lines, and pads cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools; cleans containers, materials, supplies, or work area using cleaning solutions and hand tools; examines and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met; loads materials and meat products into package processing equipment, marks and labels containers, container tags, or products using marking tools; obtains, moves, and sorts products, materials, containers, and orders using hand tools; places and/or pours products or materials into containers using hand tools and equipment, or fills containers from spouts or chutes; records product, packaging and order information on specified forms and records; removes completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas such as loading docks; seals containers or materials, using glues, fasteners, nails, and hand tools.
