Light General Labour – Meat Packaging

Day Shift - $18.50/hr

THE ROLE:

We are currently hiring Light General Labourers for a food production facility located in Hamilton, ON. This role involves packaging and preparing meat products for shipment in a refrigerated production environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for steady, long-term employment with a well-established company in Hamilton,ON. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Package and wrap meat products according to company standards
  • Label and prepare products for shipping and distribution
  • Remove filled containers from conveyor lines and place into boxes or cartons
  • Feed packaging materials into machines when required
  • Ensure packaging quality and product accuracy
  • Inspect products for quality or packaging defects
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations and production areas
  • Assist machine operators and production staff as needed
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
  • Perform general labour duties as assigned
