Job description

Position Summary:


Material Control Associate will assist the materials team in maintaining accurate and sufficient inventory through the receiving, production reporting, and cycle counting processes.  The Material Control Associate works directly with Materials & Purchasing Supervisor and Inventory Supervisor to ensure all day to day functions are completed on time. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Material Control Associate will assist in maintaining team focus on the core responsibilities of the materials team:
    Accurately enter receipts
    Accurately enter production reporting, paste/resin logs
    Cycle counts materials to maintain accurate inventory
    Investigates material shortages/overages
    Assists in correcting BOM issues
    Assists with kitting improvement
    Assists with continuous improvement in the department (Kaizen, Lean Mfg.)
    Follow inspection process with the Quality Team as required
    Assists with safety, quality, delivery, and cost


Education/ Skills/ Experience:


    High school diploma or equivalency required.
    Associates Degree in Business or equivalency a plus.
    Minimum of one to three years' experience in warehouse and materials with emphasis on inventory control, cycle counting, receiving processes.
    Ability to interpret and accurately fill out paperwork
    Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
    Basic computer skills required
    Must be able to work independently
    Good attendance required

    Paste & Resin Logs
    MUV & Exception logs


Physical Skills and Abilities:


    Must be able to sit/stand for long periods
