JOB TITLE: Material Control Associate

DEPARTMENT: Production Management

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time, Exempt

JOB SUMMARY:

A Material Control Associate performs Managing Materials, Warehousing and Keep in/out records.

RESPONSIBLITIES AND DUTIES:

Duties include but not limited to the following:

  • Identify materials and component requirements for production.
  • Making purchase order and keep it follow up to maintain proper inventory level.
  • Track material quality and initiate actions to extend or eliminate expiring materials.
  • Coordinate with purchasing, production, warehouse to ensure appropriate quantities and quality of materials.
  • Materials Warehouse Managing with forklift driver
  • Has strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Can help Identify risks and determine strategies and mind set of continual improvement.
  • SAP

  • Team Budget Management

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Excel Skills: Understanding various functions and tools for reflect various production conditions.
  • Reading Comprehension: Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
  • Active Listening & Speaking: Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times; talking to others to convey information effectively
  • Time Management: Managing one's own time and the time of others
  • Writing: Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Warehouse managing or logistic experience preferred 2+ years
  • Good command of written and spoken English

REQUIRED COMPENTENCIES:

  • Production and Processing: Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
  • Administration and Management: Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
  • English Language: Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
  • Customer and Personal Service: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
