The Saxon Clinic in Milton Keynes is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Materials Assistant to join their team of staff in theOperations department.

This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

  • You are an active member of the Materials Department, involved in the day to day running of the department.
  • Provide an effective and high-quality materials management service to all internal customers.
  • Ensure stock availability through the correct order processing and replenishing of pre-approved stock and products for central stores or on behalf of hospital departments.
  • Maintain all departmental paperwork and files in good order with reference to accuracy, appropriateness and availability.
  • You comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of GSCE/O level Mathematics and English or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Able to work on own initiative without close supervision.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
