Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Manager to lead warehouse operations for a growing manufacturing company in Elmhurst. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing the shipping and receiving team, maintaining inventory accuracy, and driving process improvements to increase operational efficiency.

Job Duties:

  • Lead, train, and develop the shipping and receiving team.

  • Oversee daily shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely ERP transactions and inventory management.
  • Maintain organized warehouse operations and FIFO inventory practices.
  • Partner with production and internal teams to support operational goals.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of material handling equipment.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, supply chain, or related experience.
  • Previous management or supervisory experience required.
  • Strong process improvement and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
