Job description

SHIPPING AND RECEIVING MANAGER
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an experienced Shipping and Receiving Manager for a fabrication company based in Jasper, TN. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shipping and receiving freight, basic proficiency in Excel, and the ability to operate a forklift. This role requires a self-starter who can manage daily operations efficiently and effectively.

Pay Rate 
$19.00-$21.00 per hour based on experience 

Schedule and Hours 
6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday 

Shipping and Receiving Manager Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage shipping and receiving operations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely freight processing.
  • Operate a forklift to move and organize inventory.
  • Utilize Excel for basic data entry and reporting.
  • Maintain inventory records and ensure proper documentation.
  • Lead and motivate a team to achieve operational goals.
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols.
 
Shipping and Receiving Manager Qualifications and Requirements 
  • Proven experience in a managerial role.
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
  • Basic proficiency in Excel.
  • Forklift operation certification or experience.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Lift 50lbs during workday (in office assessment will be conducted)
