Description:

Summary:

Work to ensure valves and other products are efficiently delivered to proper locations. Receive boxes

from truck companies, place and maintain inventory in stock, pull items for shipment, deliver items to

customers. Receive valves for stock, pretests, and ship valves to shops for repair. Pick up valves from

customers. Install radio-frequency identification tags and barcode tags to valves installed in plants. Use

a forklift to complete duties.


Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Receives boxes from trucking companies, places inventory in stock, pulls items for shipment, and packages.
  • Responsible for inventory management by ensuring all inventory is in its proper location and conducts regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Receives valves for stock, pre-tests valves in mobile trailer, and ships valves to Calvert City for repair.
  • Delivers items to customers using company provided vehicle.
  • Picks up valves from customers using company provided vehicle.
  • Installs radio-frequency identification tags and barcode tags to valves installed in plants.
  • Use of forklift required for duties and responsibilities.
Requirements:

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or four to six years related experience

and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:

• Mechanical aptitude

• Current and valid drivers license
