POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Shipping and Receiving Lead’s primary responsibility is overseeing production support by ensuring proper procedures are followed in the materials shipping and receiving process.   Primary responsibilities also include leading other Shipping Department personnel as well as verifying, staging, tracking and documenting any material received and products shipped from point of intake or outtake to their proper location. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

̈      Review shipping schedule.

̈      Customer relations, ensure timeliness of all matters.

̈      Ensure compliance with Health and Safety standard.

̈      Report any discrepancies in invoices.

̈      Perform check of incoming goods to ensure compliance with invoices as well as to assure against damages.

̈      Ensure proper storage of materials received

̈      Maintain and support a clean, organized work environment

̈      Participation in physical inventories.

̈      Maintain compliance of IATF 16949.

̈      Submit invoices and any other documentation.

̈      Transport received and finished product to their proper and appointed locations.

̈      Follows all safety, housekeeping, and company policies and procedures

̈      Coordinates and maintains all job responsibilities in a continuous and flexible manner and performs other related duties and assignments as required.

̈      Complete any and all tasks or assignments as requested by Management or your Supervisor.

̈      Report required organizational metrics to top management

̈      Support Quality Management Systems

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

 

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).  Prior shipping/receiving experience and fork lift operation experience preferred as well as training in computer information systems.

Shipping and Receiving Lead shall have direct working knowledge of the following:

̈      IATF 16949 Quality Standards and Policy Statement

̈      Nova Stevensville Core Values/Code of Conduct

̈      Knowledge of receiving transactions and the CMS system.

̈     Lottracking and inspection procedures.

̈      Raw materials.
