Job description

Shipping & Receiving Manager


Global Manufacturing Company manufactures Automotive Electronic Modules in Central Indiana (Indianapolis suburbs). They need a Shipping and Receiving manager to join their expanding team.


Position requires planning and organizing and managing a team of 7 people responsible for inbound and outbound shipments i.e. shipping and receiving of materials. Work with MRP / WMS (warehouse management system module) to organize and deliver production schedules and movement of inventory.


Skills / Requirements

  • 5 or more years experience as shipping and receiving supervisor in Manufacturing OR Warehouse environment.


  • Must have experience in ONE or more of the following:

shipping manager

OR receiving manager

OR inbound supervisor

OR outbound supervisor


  • Experience working with MRP systems or WMS systems, may require entering information on Customer & Supplier Portals and inventory of materials.
  • Experience supervising people and teams.
  • Communicate effectively, good interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
  • College Education is not required but will consider equivalent experience.
