Job Description
The Material Control Coordinator is an analytical professional that performs the creation & maintenance of the Bills of Material. This position is integral in the planning & support of Advanced Work Packaging by providing project personnel with constraint and material readiness.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate / Communicate directly with Work Face Planning, Scheduling, Engineering, and Expediting to collect necessary Bills of Material detail and work package attributes.
  • Revise & populate Bills of Material data in the Material Management System
  • (MMS)
  • Support the data analysis for construction planning meetings and be prepared to support/explain the results.
  • Perform & oversee the pick ticket creation and issuing of material within the Material Management System (MMS)
  • Generate reports for project team to include forecast of work package requirements.
  • Continuously review Material Readiness look ahead reports and provide status to project team to eliminate material constraints.
  • Train project staff on process and procedures including transactions related to Bill of Materials
  • Generate requisitions for material shortages related to Bills of Materia
  • Other task as required

Qualifications
  • Current Zachry or Zachry ROF'ed employee.
  • Former experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience on an industrial construction project.
  • Previous experience in this position.
  • Associate's Degree

Physical Requirements
  • Employee may be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting.
  • Will talk and hear to communicate.
  • May be required to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 25lbs (occasionally more).
  • Occasionally be required to spend time on the construction site and will need to have the ability to walk and climb various outdoor conditions.
  • Ability to work alone and with others including craft, planners, managers, engineers, suppliers, and customers.
