Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Material Analyst to support inventory management, production planning, and supply chain operations. This role is responsible for monitoring material availability, analyzing inventory levels, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and helping ensure uninterrupted production and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze inventory levels, material usage, and demand forecasts
  • Monitor shortages, excess inventory, and slow-moving materials
  • Coordinate with purchasing, production, logistics, and suppliers
  • Maintain accurate ERP/MRP system data
  • Generate reports on inventory performance and material trends
  • Support production schedules by ensuring material availability
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits
  • Track supplier performance and delivery timelines
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Finance, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in materials analysis, inventory control, planning, or supply chain
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills
